We attended our anual Derby Day party at Karla and Rogers in Butler Kentucky last night. Much fun as usual. We spent most of the time in the garage or under the awning of the house because of rain. Kim couldn't sleep on the hard cot in the tent so she went to the van which was parked by the creek. She was woken by the bump of a log drifting down streem. The creek had risen to ingulf the van and was rising rapidly. She beeped the horn to alert us and then backed away to safety. We moved all the cars before they got washed away. Karens car got some water inside befor it was moved.
